Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, a financial institution in the Milwaukee area, is recruiting for Universal Bankers.

These are direct-hire opportunities, 1st Shift Monday-Friday, pay starting at $17/hour with the opportunity to earn more, and benefits.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and handle various customer transactions with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and enthusiasm.  These transactions can include, but are not limited to: cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, bond redemptions, check cashing, cashier’s checks, closing accounts, processing of general ledger debits/credits, packaging coins and currency, logging and processing night depository, and placing deposit holds.
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Resolve issues or refer to appropriate employee to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively acquire new banking relationships and open new accounts
  • Promote and explain our suite of digital services to increase use and security
  • Process stop payment requests, wire transfers/fund transfers, and places check orders. Proactively assist customers in renewing CDs.

  • Develop and cultivate long-term business and consumer relationships.
  • Increase customer engagement through ongoing follow-up and meaningful conversations.
  • Ensure the branch is properly organized and stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and records and shares information only as appropriate. 
  • Assist other bankers, as needed, to open, maintain and close all deposit products and services.
  • Keep informed of, and strictly adhere to all bank procedures and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate in a Microsoft environment.
  • Ability to operate office equipment of varying heights, sizes and positions by reaching, handling, fingering, bending, stooping, kneeling and feeling
  • Ability to lift and carry a weight of up to 20 pounds for a short period of time.


Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of bank products and services
  • 1+ year of retail banking experience
