Goodwill TalentBridge is recruiting an experienced Systems Integration Engineer in this direct hire role with our client, a manufacturer of automated machinery, located in Waukesha County, WI. This role is tasked with the identification and application of cutting-edge technology for new and existing product lines. This role will build prototypes, run validation testing, and manage product test processes through to production. The Systems Integration Engineer will interact globally with a wide client and distributor network to provide technical expertise and support and work cross-functionally with internal mechanical engineering teams leading projects to develop and improve automated systems. Our client offers an innovative hands-on and collaborative environment, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits. Apply today!

 

Duties:

  • Develop conceptual design layout, prototyping, testing and measurement of performance
  • FMA and qualification of systems
  • New Product Development using stage gate process
  • Utilize DOE, SPC, and FMEA tools and analysis of resulting data
  • Lead project meetings and specialized projects
  • Communicate technical information and concepts to a wide audience
  • Implement risk assessment and reduction planning
  • Analyze test requirements and employ necessary resources and functions to carry out testing
  • Act as a support to the manufacturing and validation process

Requirements:


  • BS/MS/PhD in electrical or mechanical engineering and 5 years’ experience in automation equipment development
  • Depth of experience in process automation, system integration, equipment development and programming
  • Knowledge of six-sigma techniques
  • Experience in data collection and analysis for internal combustion engine platforms preferred
  • Experience with electro/mechanical product development preferred
  • MS Office Suite, MRP(Epicorp) preferred
  • Experience with LabVIEW programming required
  • Occasionally this role supports functions within the team that requires evening/weekend work
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support projects (10%)
