Goodwill TalentBridge is hiring 1 logistics associate to work within a warehouse environment in Buffalo Grove, IL.

This company is a high volume distribution operation in Buffalo Grove with roles that encompass various warehouse functions.  Our logistics administrator is responsible for the routing and tracking of fleet and messengers, assuring efficiency and safety while exceeding our customers’ service needs.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Route and coordinate electrical product deliveries and pick-ups
• Develop the most cost-effective, efficient routes while capturing service requirements
• Continuously monitor routes and collaborate with logistics team to gain new efficiencies
• Proactively look for opportunities to reduce logistics cost
• Create daily manifests and match invoices
• Interface with customers, vendors and internal contacts
• Translate internal requests into tasks which are completed timely
• Create, update and maintain spreadsheets and logs
• Occasionally perform various duties associated with the receiving, placement, picking, packing, loading and unloading of product
• Coordinate UPS outbound shipments
