Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a temporary HR Assistant to work within the healthcare industry. This is a remote position, full-time, 8:00am-4:30pm M-F. Pay rate starts at $21/hour.
Summary:
Supports a variety of HR functions including scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, coordinating onboarding, and maintaining HR data and files. Plays a key role in ensuring compliance and streamlining HR processes.
- Maintain HR systems and employee files with accurate data entry.
- Schedule interviews, coordinate candidate travel, and assist with screening and reference checks.
- Organize new hire orientation and support onboarding documentation (e.g., background checks, offer letters, tax forms).
- Assist with compliance checks, including criminal background investigations and license verifications.
- Help manage temporary staffing needs and support internal HR projects.
- Provide occasional front desk coverage and general department support.
Requirements:
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or HR coursework preferred
- 2+ years of HR or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
- Ability to work successfully in a remote-working environment.
