WE’RE HIRING! Goodwill TalentBridge has partnered with an International Equipment Manufacturer that is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team.
Are you experienced with Accounting practices - AP/AR? General Ledger? Payroll?
Well versed in accounting software such as Peachtree and Sage?
What is the Position?
The Financial Accountant will use their skills to migrate our current Peachtree package to a new suitable SAGE package. Once migrated they will be responsible for all day to day, end of month, and end of financial year accounts.
What are the Responsibilities? (Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:)
- Accounts Receivable / Payable
- Creditors’ payments
- Fixed Assets
- Payroll
- General Journals and Accruals
- General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Bank Reconciliation
- Monthly expense Reports
- AMEX monthly bill reconciliation
- Preparation and remittance of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports like Expenses, Payroll, Health Insurance Renewal, Workers Comp, etc.
- Fiscal year audit reports with external auditor and filing tax returns through auditor portal
- Tradeshow Expo contracts & payments
- Bureau of Engraving & Printing Communications
Requirements:
What are the Qualifications?
- 3-5 years experience in Accounting including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, invoicing, reconciliation, and audits
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Peachtree and SAGE software experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS preferred
What are the Benefits?
