As a Food Service Professional you will be assigned to a school kitchen. You will play an important role in meeting the nutritional needs of the students. These positions require NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS:
- Daily food preparation and service
- Daily accountability including on line data entry
- Preparation of all food and stock requisitions
- Inventory Control
- Supervision and training of Food Service Assistants
- Preparation of Food Service Assistants work schedules and assignments
- Completion of various reports
- Interpretation and evaluation of school lunch menus
- Cleanliness and sanitation of the general kitchen area, equipment and storeroom
- Attendance at meetings and in-service workshops

Requirements:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Majority of work is performed by standing or walking and requires exposure to changes in temperature and humidity. Work requires using hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling. Work at ties requires bending, squatting, climbing, reaching with the ability to lift, carry, push or pull heavy items. Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Individuals will be subject to a criminal background verification, employment eligibility verification and a drug screen. Ideal candidate will have a least 6 months to 1 year of successful employment history and have a positive attitude
