Accounts Receivable Clerk
Goodwill TalentBridge is recruiting an Accounts Receivable Clerk to work with our client, a global manufacturer with offices in Milwaukee

This is a direct hire role and will collaborate with other accounting staff, perform general accounting duties such as collections, reviewing journal entries, enter credit card payments and deposits, and resolve invoice concerns.  This role will maintain accurate and current customer information, maintain credit holds and applications, and assist with other tasks as assigned.  The ideal candidate will have experience in AR within a manufacturing environment, experience with basic accounting principles and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Team-player and orientation, adaptability to change and a high degree of accuracy are needed to excel in this role.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent relevant education/experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable and/or general accounting
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and ability to effectively apply these skills
  • Great Plains Accounting Software experience a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change and meet deadlines
