WE’RE HIRING! Goodwill TalentBridge has partnered with an International Electronics Manufacturer that is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their team.

Are you comfortable with being the sole finance/accounting person?

Do you have hands-on experience handling all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting for a small business?

Well versed in accounting software such as Peachtree/Sage50?

What is the Position?

The Accountant will be comfortable working in a small office, well organized, and serving as the sole person dealing with financial data and reporting. They will be responsible for all day to day, end of month, and end of financial year accounts such as accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, general ledger, invoicing, reconciling, auditing, and other finance related tasks. The Accountant will have an ability to produce clear financial reports.

What are the Responsibilities? (Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:)

Accounts Receivable / Payable
Creditors’ payments
Fixed Assets
Payroll
General Journals and Accruals
General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Bank Reconciliation
Monthly expense Reports
AMEX monthly bill reconciliation
Preparation and remittance of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports like Expenses, Payroll, Health Insurance Renewal, Workers Comp, etc.
Fiscal year audit reports with external auditor and filing tax returns through auditor portal

Tradeshow Expo contracts & payments
Bureau of Engraving & Printing Communications

Requirements:

What are the Qualifications?

3-5 years experience in Accounting including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, invoicing, reconciliation, and audits
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Peachtree and SAGE software experience
Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS preferred

What are the Benefits?

$65-75k per year
