DUTIES:
This "Operator" will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electric motors and rotate stations within a work cell. Assemblies are to be built to customer's specifications and requirements within a team environment. The Operator will have the responsibility of providing a quality product within set time standards and to strive to eliminate waste, provide a steady workflow, assist in process improvements, and monitor work to ensure that a quality product is produced.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manually wind and insert wire into a stator core
- Use proper tools and insulation materials while inserting
- Removal of insulation from magnet wire (chemical strip)
- Solder connections of magnet wire to lead wire
- Insulate connections using proper materials
- Form and hand lace end turns
- Varnish stators
- Perform a visual and electrical inspection
