This is a fast paced, high volume distribution operation and the position interacts with both internal and external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring daily delivery routes, scheduling pickups, and resolving delivery issues.
- Assist in identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.
- Update customers and sales on their shipments and inform them of etas and changes
- Makes recommendations for processes and procedure changes required to improve overall Logistics efficiency
- Interface with customers, vendors and internal contacts
- Translate internal requests into tasks which are completed timely
- Create, update and maintain delivery spreadsheets and logs
