Job Summary

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate warehouse, inventory, and distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations. Directs and supports the day-to-day operations of the service technicians to ensure customers are served in a timely and excellent manner.

General Accountabilities

  • Supervises the activities of workers engaged in the repair and testing of customers' systems.
  • Interviews selects and train warehouse and supervisory personnel.
  • Plans, develop, or implements warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
  • Working with the Operations Manager, prepares or directs preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals.
  • Confers with owners to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, sales, records control, customer repair, or purchasing.
  • Reviews invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.
  • Approves Hours, paid time off, and overtime for warehouse and service technicians
  • Inspects physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
  • Oversees the shipping and receiving department
  • Responds to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
  • Develops and documents standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials.
  • Develops or implements plans for facility modification or expansion, such as equipment purchase or changes in space allocation or structural design.
  • Tracks and traces goods while they are en route to their destinations, expediting orders when necessary.
  • Support sales and customer service through answering phones and responding to customers requests

Requirements:
