Goodwill TalentBridge is partnering with a leading client in Kenosha County, to find a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate. This position would help with warehouse activities within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate must have good computer skills and proficiency in warehouse management software. Experience in inspections, packaging, material handling, rf scanner, and labeling.

Shift: 1st shift
Hours: 7am-3:30pm
Monday-Friday
40 hours/wk.
Potential for Overtime
Temp-to-Hire opportunity


Max Pay rate: $19/hr.

SUMMARY

Performs the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of materials
  • Handle re-boxing of items into kits
  • Use RF guns and Warehouse Management System (WMS), including programs like Oracle
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and perform quality checks on inbound and outbound shipments
  • Handle hazardous materials and comply with 5S safety practices
  • Perform ERP system transactions for shipments and track them in warehouse management system
  • Maintain equipment and create repair orders when necessary

Requirements:

  • High School or GED required
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Solid communication skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable
  • Proper PPE steel toe shoes required


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have good computer skills and email communication
  • Previous experience using warehouse management software, with Oracle being a plus
  • Strong work ethic with a "go-getter" attitude
  • Solid professional work behaviors including attendance, teamwork, and time management
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Physical Activity: Frequently bending, stooping, and moving about
  • Operating machinery and/or power tools. (Occasionally)
  • Weight Handling: Medium work, moving objects up to 35 lbs
