As a Tax Filing Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations and administration of tax filing delivery. Duties include and are not limited to the following:

  • Distribute tax remittances according to tax jurisdiction guidelines.
  • Manage client delivery, ensuring satisfaction across shared services and tax filing.
  • Assist in new client set up and implementation.
  • Act as a point of contact by responding to client (and team) inquiries and resolving client escalations.
  • Oversee day to day operations, managing workflow efficiency and supervising employees.
  • Educate and coach clients (and associates), providing subject matter expertise related to payroll and tax filling.
  • Represent TFSS and facilitate client meetings.
  • Manage and support tax filing analysis.
  • Monitor and audit workflow efficiency to identify trends and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement and process improvement efforts through implementation.
  • Conduct timely research on compliance and regulatory issues.
  • Compile, report, and analyze metrics.
  • Manage employee performance and ensure accountability.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training for new and existing staff.   
  • Review EFT setup to ensure all deposits are scheduled for EFT payment.
  • Communicate penalty and interest report to clients.



  • At least 5 years of previous experience supporting payroll tax filing operations within a managerial and/or leadership role.
  • Advanced understanding of payroll and tax filing operations.
  • Relationship building and client/account management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legislative guidelines.
  • Master Tax & ADP Smart Compliance skill set desired.
