ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Prepares and analyzes financial reports along with tax returns for individuals and companies.
- Review the company's financial reports, ensuring there are no discrepancies.
- Build relationships with managers, co-workers, and clientele.
- Maintain and audit companies financial records.
- Performs duties related to bookkeeping, preparation of audits, taxes, and financial planning.
- Oversee and analyze budgets.
- Recommends tax saving and planning methods.
- Analyze account for errors, misinformation, and overspending
- Report financial information to management
- Acts as a consultant in areas of compensation, benefits, and asset protection.
- Develops and understanding of the business, furthering technical skills through formal learning channels.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Previous experience within public accounting.
- CPA certification required or at the very least, eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to build strong rapport with clientele while managing projects and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to travel to client facilities, meetings, and seminars. On occasion, travel may include out of town and overnights.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Personal vehicle is required
