$55k-$65k - *Hourly
As a Senior Material Planner, your job is to support supply chain, inventory, and purchasing operations. Additional responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
- Create, review, and update purchase orders.
- Validate purchase orders to ensure pricing and quantity prior to finalization.
- Review and update PO’s.
- Track and confirm deliveries.
- Monitor past due status and reconcile discrepancies with suppliers.
- Maintain accuracy of PO data and processing.
- Expedite backordered, past due, and/or out of stock materials as necessary.
- Research receiving discrepancies to resolve inventory issues.
- Research accounting discrepancies to resolve pricing issues.
- Maintain material master data as back up to Material Analyst.
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date supplier information.
- Maintain and create new spreadsheets, extracting, combining, and updating information.
- Report and measure KPI’s.
- Comply with safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3-5 years’ experience in MRP & DRP planning, purchasing, inventory management, and forecasting.
- Previous experience working within a demand planning role specific to the industrial machinery and manufacturing industries.
- Associates degree OR equivalent/relevant experience.
- 2+ years of SAP experience and knowledge of MRP & ERP systems.
- Knowledge of industrial engines and generators; ABC inventory management; purchasing processes; basic accounting; and PTP practices.
- Must be able to analyze heavy amounts of data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel (*VLOOKUP, PIVOT, Macros, SQL queries, and more!), Word, Access, and Power Point.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel – domestically and internationally.
- Valid Driver’s License
