Position Description
The Special Projects Facilitator is a part-time position providing administrative support for a variety of special projects.   The position collects data, serves as a liaison between and the community to facilitate projects and special events, position attends all required trainings and performs other duties as assigned. The position works very closely with and reports directly to the Executive Director.

  • Communication skills: This is a highly verbal position. Choosing and using the right words can be critical to a successful project or event. Demonstrate effective communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions when clarification is needed.
  • Interpersonal skills: The ability to establish and maintain personal and professional boundaries is critical.  Must be able to work well with others fostering a team atmosphere
  • Problem-solving skills: An analytical mind is needed to weigh and assess the best options in various situations.
  • Organizational skills: Must accurately and meticulously maintain records and make them available to others, sometimes requiring a quick turn around time.
  • Software skills – proficient in Microsoft Office Suite needed as most of our record reporting uses some form of this software.
  • Experience -  desired experience in fast paced innovative situations interacting with individuals from various cultures and backgrounds.  Flexibility is a must. 
  • Cooperation – adhere to all company policies and procedures.



Position Responsibilities

  1. Provide overall management and coordination of special projects and programs:
    1. Track service delivery, gather data and assist with required reports
    2. Attend trainings to maintain efficient and effective service delivery
    3. Communicate efficiently and effectively with various individuals to facilitate successful outcomes
    4. Provide administrative support to the Executive Staff (CEO and CFO)
    5. Other duties as assigned

 

  1. Other duties:
    1. Track service delivery, gather date and assist with required reporting
    2. Submit monthly reports to the Executive Director
    3. Attend meetings and trainings as needed
