Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a SMT Programmer to work in the Wheeling area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • General responsibilities are in the support of projects and processes as directed by Process Engineering and by SMT production schedules
  • Some of the areas of responsibility include SMT program development and maintenance, SMT production support, procedure development and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school
  • Or one year related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong computer skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.  

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
