Goodwill TalentBridge and one of our clients in the Libertyville area is seeking an experienced Warehouse Shipping/receiving clerk with reach truck experience. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Shifts: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
This position does require a morning shift until late November or December until the shift is set up. Candidates will be working 8:30-5:30 during this time at the same $21.00 pay rate and then transition into the night shift.
Pay: $21.00/HR
SUMMARY
- Verify materials received against purchase requisition
- Responsible for accurately picking, breaking down orders to give to production in a timely fashion and picking orders that ship out directly to the customer.
- Operate a Stand Up Reach Truck and/or any of the 5 class forklifts following OSHA requirements.
- Prepare skids for freight shipments, including wrapping and strapping
- Stock bins and/or shelves with parts from receiving carts, receiving area, and return to stock shelf.
- Package and Quality Control systems and parts shipping out.
- Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
- Ensure products are received from our vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare skids for freight shipment, including wrapping and strapping
- Contribute to monthly meetings with ideas and participation.
- Complete semi-annual inventories and weekly cycle counts.
