Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Sales Assistant to work in the Milwaukee, area.

Summary
Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all activities, projects and information related to inside and outside sales are monitored and maintained to create a process flow that leads to complete customer satisfaction.  This is done in a consistent and detailed manner to ensure accuracy, on-time delivery and a quality installation process experience is provided to customers in accordance with company procedures and policies and meets internal and external customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support and coordination to Vice President of Sales on all national accounts
  • Manages and maintains all customer data in CRM system:  enters website leads, sends customer follow-up emails on new and existing quotes, enters customer responses, pulls sales reports monthly/quarterly/annually, sends out product information and searches for information in ERP system (M2K)
  • Manages and maintains database information:  verifies customer contact info, adds new contacts and customer information and purges old information
  • Maintains and coordinates AIA (American Institute of Architects) programs:  researches architectural firms to determine fit for our product, coordinates courses and training on VRCs (Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors) and coordinates lunch and learn appointments with regional manager
  • Tracks department expenses for sales schools and lunch and learns and manages attendees and feedback
  • Partners with marketing and regional sales managers on preparations for trade shows and sales schools
  • Develops relationships with all national external installation providers and monitors performance on a routine basis
  • Performs administrative duties and coordinates activities and projects for VP of Sales and Regional Sales Managers
  • Establishes best practices and procedures and communicates and trains team on procedures
  • Expedites customer concerns to Regional Sales Managers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keeps work environment clean, safe and positive
  • Primary focus of all business related efforts are and must remain that of promoting excellence in all products
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Cross trains and assists with all Marketing functions
  • Coordinates shipment and delivery schedules and transportation for all national accounts with assembly supervisor to ensure accurate, on-time and cost effective shipping
  • Sets personal goals for continued learning and growth
