Hello! Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, have a great opportunity for a Rotor Assembler located in Milwaukee, WI! This position is temporary for 3-4 months, but has potential to become temp-to-hire.

Schedule: 5:30 am - 4 pm, Monday-Thursday
Payrate: $17/hr

Summary: Work in the Rotor department performing work in 3 areas: Interior/Exterior, Brazing, and Pre/Final Bandaging.


1. Perform mechanical assembly according to the standard operating procedures and instructions.

2. Use blue prints, work instruction and schematics to perform assembly operations.

3. Use pneumatic hand tools, basic measuring hand and power tools as necessary for the assembly of specific parts.

4. Ensure each check point and traceability of the component is collected and tracked properly in the computer system.

5. Ensure each job is tracked appropriately using the job costing system so time can be billed correctly.

6. Inform the supervisor if the stocks to carry out the process are not sufficient.

7. Follow instructions to keep and follow 6S methodology.

8. Cross train in different work stations and on different generators models if needed.

9. Cut coils as needed with pneumatic cutter.



· Must have the ability to read, understand and follow detailed work instructions, have attention to detail and perform basic math calculations.

· Must be able to interpret measurements.

· Experience using measuring devices and power tools (torque wrenches and hand tools) is required.

· Must have good verbal and written communication and comprehension skills

· Must be reliable and have good attendance. Must adhere to company’s Time & Attendance policy.

· Must have the ability to thrive in a team environment, and to be able to work with necessary supervision

· Use of overhead cranes and forklift preferred. Must be willing to get trained and certified in crane and forklift operation, if needed.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS (Academic degrees, languages, other informal knowledge, etc.)

· The position requires a high school diploma or GED. Experience performing mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment preferred.
