Goodwill Talentbridge is Currently Hiring for Rework Technicians located in Elk Grove Village.

Opportunities on 1st & and 2nd Shift
1st Shift: Monday- Friday 6:30am- 3:00pm Full-Time, $19/HR
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:15pm - 11:45pm, Full-Time, $19.95/HR

A Rework Operator that will perform efficient, effective, and highly reliable surface mount repairs to electronic circuit boards and other devices or assemblies including High Level Assemblies (HLA).


The Rework Operator should know how to use a microscope during rework activities, perform repairs in accordance with appropriate Quality Standards and industry soldering practices, maintain a clean and orderly working area, communicate machine operation status and errors to the Supervisor, should be willing to work with other team members to implement quality and performance improvement, and perform other duties as assigned.

  • Surface-Mount Technology (SMT)
  • Ability to identify component packages and values
  • Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical rework tasks in line with manufacturing requirements
  • Ability to follow oral instructions to repair or modify assemblies, sub-assemblies and components
  • Perform rework and verify own work.



  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working on electronic PCBs and manufacturing environment
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience on repairing BGAs and lifted pads
  • Good soldering skills
  • Experience working on multi-layer PCBAs
  • IPC certification is preferred
  • Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Excel and word
  • Good communication skills, self motivated
  • Flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as required
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
