Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for Rewind Operators to work in the Waukegan area.

Principal Objective:

Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors. Re-spool and cut wire to length as specified by customer requirement in work order.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor machine; cut product to proper lengths.
  • Load reel of product onto rewind machine.
  • Product from machine.
  • Inspect product for cosmetics.
  • Test product for continuity.
  • Attend to any mechanical problems as they happen.
  • Occasionally assist in training of individuals in rewind process.
  • Complete labor reports.


Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Working Knowledge:

Must be able to read and understand English to be able to communicate with Supervision and comprehend work instructions. Basic operation of different types of machinery, and use of hand tools and measuring devicesMust be able to read and use measuring devices

Physical Demands:

Continuous standing throughout the entire 8 - 12 hour shift; regular lifting up to 50 lbs.; frequent pulling, pushing and bending.

Job Type: Full-time, Pay: $14.21 per hour
