Goodwill TalentBridge is partnering with a leading client in Kenosha County, to find a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician. This position would help with supporting quality assurance (QA) activities within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate must have good computer skills, including proficiency in emails. Experience in audits, inspections, and process improvement, ensuring the highest standards of product quality.

Pay rate: Up to $ 24-$25/hr based on experience
Location: Kenosha, WI (On-site)
Temp to hire
Shift: Mid Shift – 12PM to 8:300 PM, Monday through Friday

SUMMARY

The Quality Technician plays a key role in maintaining product quality by performing audits, inspections, and collaborating with various departments to prevent nonconforming products from being shipped to customers. This position requires an individual who is proactive, adaptable, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform regular inspections and audits on production and finished goods to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance product quality.
  • Assist in the investigation of nonconforming materials and report findings to authorized vendors.
  • Work with management and team members to resolve new or complex quality-related issues.
  • Support the implementation of new product quality plans and ensure proper adherence to established processes.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements, delivering output following learned technical framework.

 

Requirements:

  • High School or GED required
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, auditing, or inspection.
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and apply technical information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Solid communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have good computer skills and email communication
  • Previous experience as a Quality Auditor is a plus.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong work ethic with a "go-getter" attitude
  • Role consists of more quality auditor experience then quality technician experience
  • Solid professional work behaviors including attendance, teamwork, and time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
