Goodwill TalentBridge seeks a QA Supervisor to work in this direct hire role with our client, a leading manufacturer of ventilation, air quality and centralized building solutions

The QA Supervisor provides leadership to QA technicians fulfilling job assignments to deliver products safely and on time to service internal and external customers. Drive efficiency and quality in the department by identifying root cause and countermeasures to continually improve performance. Responsible for developing QA Technicians through training and performance reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and model safe work practices. Proactively seek opportunities to improve safety.
  • Direct the overall work assignment of QA Technicians to ensure attainment of business needs.
  • Document and complete detailed performance reviews with QA technicians. Coach QA Technicians for improved performance and development. Lead progressive discipline process.
  • Lead safety investigations and complete necessary reports. Communicate incidents to QA Manager.
  • Ensure proper training is delivered to QA Technicians as necessary.
  • Ensure and approve accurate timekeeping records.
  • Partner with QA Manager to manage departmental budget and drive cost savings.
  • Lead shift exchange meetings.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments.
  • Lead 8D problem solving activities to determine root cause and corrective action implementation.
  • Develop/write business process to document department processes.
  • Partner with QA Manager to resolve internal corrective actions and customer complaints.
  • Assist QA Technicians in resolving quality issues that result in MCRs, product and shipping holds.
  • Perform internal audits to meet ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Lead process improvement projects.
  • Calculate daily quality metrics and attend daily MDI walks when QA Manager is absent.
  • Assist with calculating monthly SD quality metrics.


  • Associates Degree in related field or equivalent college credits completed.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, professionalism, accountability, and positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of APQP, standard problem-solving tools and ISO 9001:2015 Standard
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
