Goodwill TalentBridge is recruiting for a Quality Document Control Specialist for a food manufacturing company in North Chicago, IL. This role is temp-hire on 1st shift.
Pay: $17/HR-$20/HR based on experience
Shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM

Summary:
Under general supervision, document control specialist is responsible for providing professional and efficient clerical support to our quality team, which would include receiving, reviewing, categorizing, scanning, filing, and tracking documents using our company’s classification and organization systems.
Responsibilities:
*Food safety, food protection or quality responsibilities within job. All staff are responsible for reporting food safety, food protection and quality issues to those that can initiate action.
- Review quality-related documents, including but limited to: protocols; calibration certificates; temperature charts.
- Tracking retains, change controls (equipment and document) and complaints.
- Issue and review of manufacturing batch records for compliance of manufacturing processes/steps, ensuring that all applicable documents, records and forms are complete and attached.
- Maintains document control and procedures pertinent to Quality Assurance (QA) activities and functions as well as other procedures if deemed necessary.
- Handle records across various departments
- Retrieve documents in storage areas upon request
- Print and distribute documents as needed
- Maintain all of quality systems documentation, including: procedures, forms, quality & company records, external standards.
- Maintain the organizing, indexing, filing, storage and record keeping of all quality systems documentation and quality records in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Assist in formal audits and conduct internal audits, including completion of audit reports.
- Maintains templates for use by other personnel
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents
- Establish and maintain record retention timelines.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 to 6 months of QA Document Experience
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and PowerPoint
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent attendance
- Good attention to detail
