NOW HIRING! Goodwill TalentBridge has partnered with a property management service located in Buffalo Grove, IL and is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their team.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a salary of $65k. Schedule is Monday through Friday with one working Saturday a month!
As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day to day activities and ensuring all business is conducted within accordance to state and local laws including the Fair Housing Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, OSHA, and any other company policies and procedures.
Duties include and are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring property is leased at full capacity and budget guidelines/ goals are met.
- Creating budgets and income projections.
- Directing and managing capital expense projects.
- Enters purchase orders into the system.
- Reviewing and arranging work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner while abiding by Fair Housing Guidelines.
- Utilize Yardi Property Management software to run reports, maintain property activity and records, and to generate/countersign resident leases.
- Adhere to company policy on additional reporting (weekly, month end, etc.)
- Communicates with residents regarding property events and handling any concerns they may have.
- Reviews financial variance reports to ensure property is meeting financial goals.
- Implements new marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current residents.
- Hires, trains, and supervises all on-site staff ensuring efficiency, on-going training opportunities, counseling, leadership, and professional growth/development.
Requirements:
WHAT’S REQUIRED?
- Previous experience in property management; residential/apartment complexes’ is a huge plus!
- Working knowledge of the Fair Housing Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and OSHA.
- Ability to work with staff and residents, always providing clear and professional communication.
