Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Production Scheduler Coordinator to work in the Northbrook, IL area.

SUMMARY

The Production Scheduling Coordinator responsibilities are to assist Production Planning department by accurately performing Production Planning and scheduling activities to serve the customers in a timely fashion.

 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Review, sort, and distribute work orders from planning to designated production groups
    • Responsible for the scheduling of the “First Time Make Products”
    • Responsible for Dry Blend orders. Review stocking positions versus make to order items.
    • Responsible for Spray Dry scheduling. Review work order quantities to ensure they meet productions equipment capacity. Coordinate the distribution of the base oils to the liquids group.
    • Responsible for the Reactions scheduling. Review work orders to fit into production capacities and taking into account kosher requirements.
    • Responsible for the PSM Extractions department scheduling.
  • Generate shop floor schedules for equipment and work centers
  • Participate in scheduling meetings with various staff members to explain shipping deadlines, existing and/or new orders, and any outstanding issues or problems.
  • Expedite intermediate flavors from the different work center in schedule which are behind or which have new delivery dates.
  • Assist in prioritization of work for each work center.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory.
  • Analyze production data, maintain metrics, and prepare reports for production managers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

Required Education & Experience:

  • 3 – 4 years of experience in the field or related area.
  • High school Diploma Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing scheduling department and/or flavor plant operation preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Outlook, Word

SCHEDULE

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

  • 1st Shift 8am - 5pm
  • Pay: $25 - $40 based on experience
