  • Daily review of demand such as customer product order, backlogs, sales forecasts, planned sales insight (PSI), flavor test runs, etc.
  • Review needed demand assessment of the relationship of the periodic, item specific Master Production Schedule (MPS) to the stated Business Plan over equivalent periods. Setting up minimum on hand balances, EOQ, Order batch size, etc.
  • Collaborate with production and Sales and Customer Service support, develop, publish, and enforce production plan to meet service levels.
  • Able to utilize D365 computer systems designed to manage capacity planning and modules to schedule production. Ensure that proper procedures are developed and followed within the system that align with good Planning and Scheduling disciplines
  • Measure periodic plan/schedule adherence. Identify primary causes for missed schedules. Coordinate corrective action plans to address identified primary causes.
  • Assist with inventory transactions needed to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate raw material shortages and raw material coverage summary with purchasing department.
  • Provide a Production Schedule and batch order reports for the fulfillment of demand within a period of time.
  • Collaborate on the plan review for medium and long-range resource requirements.
  • Evaluate against resource availability.
  • In conjunction with Purchasing and Manufacturing, develop strategies for alignment of resources with plan requirements.
  • Provide guidance to Customer Service on short term order promising beyond the Available-To-Promise, Capable-To-Promise information normally available.
  • Help recommend order alignment and re-alignment within fixed resource capabilities.
  • Perform other duties as required to assist on Bell’s goals and objectives for the Production Planning team


  • Two year collage or five year related experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. (Business, Operations, Accounting, related field)
  • Previous experience in production planning with proven results
  • A minimum of two years of experience with D365, ERP and WMS systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze transactional data and present options for issues resolution.
  • Ability to prepare and present professional business reports.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to multitask and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices



  • Experience in S&OP execution
  • Office environment job demands
  • Constantly able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Process data calculations, formulas and create professional reports using Excel.
