Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Procurement - Financial Analyst to work in the Lincolnshire, IL area.

SUMMARY

The Procurement Financial Analyst is responsible for the collection, cleansing, analysis, and summarizing of data for Procurement spend categories, including Travel and Expense. This position requires a strong analytical, business, and technical skill set with a drive for continuous improvement.

 

The Procurement Financial Analyst plays a vital role in:

- defining supplier management and procurement spend strategy

- identifying, measuring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) and spend analytics

- partnering with managers and business leaders across the organization to evaluate business cases and RFPs


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Analyze supplier spend and savings, including creating reports from SAP and other sources
  • Provide negotiation support to Procurement managers. Support analysis and evaluation of complex bid award scenarios
  • Determine savings calculations and forecasts and perform scenarios and sensitivity analysis
  • Track and report savings, support procure-to-pay process improvement and monitor cost savings and working capital improvements
  • Support the business processes and data migration
  • Support Procurement leadership and use analytic techniques to support procurement projects
  • Identify gaps in policies, processes and procedures leading to incorrect data, propose solutions, and lead cross functional teams
  • Generate monthly Travel and Expense compliance reports

 

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years relevant experience, preferably as a financial or operations analyst
  • Background in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing industries
  • Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, Travel and Expense experience preferred
  • SAP ECC or similar ERP software tool (Concur, SAP S4Hana and Celonis skills a plus)
  • Advanced Excel skills is required, MS Office knowledge
  • Working experience developing reports and dashboards using Concur Cognos is a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically and apply data & analysis to business needs/solutions
  • Ability to assess process design and recommend improvements

SCHEDULE

  • Full-Time, Direct Hire
  • Pay: $65K - 80K, based on experience
