Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Plastics Injection Molding Engineer to work in the Lake Zurich, IL area.
SUMMARY
The Plastics Injection Molding Engineer works closely with the engineering team and the technicians in production. Work orders and projects are issued to the engineer to solve production challenges and create efficiency in the process by adjusting machinery parameters, plastic mixtures, or assimilating new technology or processes into the existing process.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Analyze documentation to determine opportunities for improvement
- Quality check final products.
- Develop production processes for new or shelved products
- Create efficient injection molding production lines
- Troubleshoot machinery or process inefficiencies
- Working on the manufacturing floor with a hands-on approach
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS (In order of importance):
- Experience as technician, quality control, troubleshooting, etc. in Plastic Injection Molding (3 to 10 years’ experience)
- Paulson Injection Molding Training (Preferred)
- RDJ Plastic injection molding training (Preferred)
- Education – engineering degree is a plus but not required
SCHEDULE
- DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
- Salary: $60,000 - $70,000/year
- Hours: 1st Shift ~ 7:00am to 4:00pm; or 8:00am to 5:00pm. Salary position might require occasional overtime.
