Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client in healthcare, is searching for compassionate and friendly Patient Access Representatives to work in the Chicago, IL area.

As a Patient Access Representative, you will be working in fast paced environment providing exceptional customer service over the phone.


The position is full time with flexible hours varying between 7am – 8pm and must be available to work one weekend day. Starting pay at $16.50 and can increase based on experience. After 3-6 months of onsite training, there is potential to WORK FROM HOME.



  • Handle patients’ requests for all locations while applying correct workflows and protocols accurately and in a timely manner
  • Simultaneously collect information from patients and key data into EMR systems
  • Schedule In-Person and Telehealth appointments at multiple locations
  • Register and verify insurance eligibility
  • Closely follow all HIPAA guidelines when speaking with patients and families
  • Route calls to correct administrative and clinical departments after assessing patients’ needs
  • Supports departmental changes, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude in a fast paced, changing environment



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Healthcare operations or administration experience preferred
  • One year of call center experience required
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, experience with dual screens, and navigating between multiple applications at once
  • Ability to type at minimum 25 words per minute
  • Exhibits essential Customer Service focused commitment demonstrating active listening, focus on issue resolution, sharp attention to detail, and analytical and problem-solving abilities to meet and exceed the needs of our patients
  • Experience working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
