Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Lead to work in the Lake Bluff, IL area.


Oversee lead team assigned to outbound along with the shipping coordinator and replenishment team. Responsible for carrying out leadership role and ensuring safety, following all company policies and procedures. In addition to providing clear communication and training/instructing employees as needed.


Outbound Lead's are responsible for coordinating outbound orders and shipping team activities by performing the following duties:

  • Full responsibility of the order allocation process including creating daily plans for warehouse fulfillment team (building waves of orders, replenishing, and prioritizing). 
  • View all new orders that enter WMS system every day and print pick tickets along with packaging slips for order picking team.
  • Responsible for making sure FEDEX and UPS shipments ship on time 
  • Support and assist the supervisor in driving the team to achieve productivity expectations
  • Strong daily problem-solving skills including order allocation troubleshooting, cycle counting warehouse locations and inventory deciphering. 
  • Manage the warehouse transfers between facilities 
  • Complete daily inventory analysis of any items that cannot ship complete
  • Cross train and support coverage to all warehouse office positions
  • Ensure that all orders are replenished prior to order allocations
  • Run routine daily reports and processes to support daily operations
  • Use Excel based dashboards and reports to keep track of order level statuses
  • Assist the shipping coordinator with loading trailers and Lowes Link/JDA
  • Manifest for customer routing including TMS for Home Depot and
  • Ensure all groups are 100% picked, packed, and shipped before posting
  • Post all groups as they are completed and complete End of Day processing
  • Assist with outbound order picking and labor planning
  • Maintain inventory accuracy for outbound orders, inventory moves, and outbound customer shipments
  • Fill orders, package products, and ship material as needed
  • Assist supervisor with all other functions in the warehouse as needed

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of experience in a DC leadership role
  • 2-5 years of previous forklift experience - Raymond Reach, Raymond Dock Stocker, Clark Sit Down is a plus 
  • Ability to consistently lift and move up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn/grow with the company


  • Shift: 2:30PM - 11:00PM + OT as required
  • Pay: $22.00 - $25.00/hour Pay is based on experience. 
  • Contract to Hire
