Goodwill TalentBridge and one of our clients in Westchester are seeking an experienced Office assistant! Do you have QuickBooks experience? Familiar with AR/AP?
First Shift; Monday-Friday; 8:30-5:00PM! Pay between $20-$22/HR!
Job Description:
The Office Administrator will be responsible for the overall operations of the office. The ideal candidate should have experience working for a General Contractor or Subcontractor in commercial construction The position requires a person who is detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, is able to efficiently multitask, and is reliable.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for generating subcontracts/Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
- Overseeing and coordinating meetings and schedules.
- Process Submittals and Requests
- Generate and run reports in QuickBooks and MS office
- Reconciliation of payments in QuickBooks (AP/AR)
- Upkeeping project directories and filing
- Answer phones in a professional manner and tend to emails in a timely fashion.
- Maintain office cleanliness and order.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Prior Contractor/ Construction Exp a plus
- QuickBooks, MS office, Outlook
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team and is a self starter.
