Actively recruiting for Mogul Operators in the North Chicago/Waukegan area!


Responsible for operating the sanding drum, catching 30lb trays of candy, and assisting with all other duties as assigned. Previous experience required.


Responsible for assisting in the Kitchen and other departments. Duties include and are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare the sanding drum and check conveyor belts from mogul to the drum.
  • Ensure trays are clean prior to use and carry to correct station.
  • Regulate steam, sugar and/or other additives in sanding drum.
  • Monitor equipment and drums while in use to prevent clogging or over saturation of ingredients.
  • Stack trays onto carts as they fill with candy in various catching stations.
  • Prepare and operate the oiler machine 
  • Operate an electric pallet jack and powerlifting equipment to move, stage, and transfer candy to and from holding/storage area along with other departments.
  • Sort and inspect damage and/or defective products.
  • Complete documentation and prepare reports including defective or damaged items report.
  • Use handheld scanner to make license plates for product ID.
  • Data entry for inventory purposes.
  • Clean work area along with spills to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned including other departments.



  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • 1+ month of previous food and/or manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple written instructions
  • Basic math skills (add and subtract two digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's, using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance).
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently throughout the day while standing on your feet for 8+ hours.


Long-term, temp to hire opportunities on 1st shift and 2nd Shift

M-F + OT as scheduled including weekends.

  • 1st Shift: 6:00AM-2:30PM;  Pay: 19.50/HR
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM-11:00 PM; Pay: $19.50HR+ $1.00/HR Shift Differential
