Overview

The Membership Associate reports to the Manager, Member Engagement and Retention and is responsible for allied staff, resident member, and candidate application processing; maintaining integrity of customer relationship management (CRM) data; promoting member benefits; supporting the department’s membership engagement initiatives; and maintaining file archive processes. The Membership Associate provides daily customer service for member-generated inquiries and serves as the division’s switchboard backup.

The Membership Associate also performs other related duties or projects as assigned by the Manager, Member Engagement and Retention and/or AED, Governance & Membership.

Requirements:

Qualifications

      • Strong technology background, including CRM database and Microsoft 365 applications; prior experience with Personify a plus
      • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
      • Bachelor’s degree preferred
      • Prior professional membership association experience preferred
      • Extensive data-entry experience
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience in membership or customer-facing field

Key Accountabilities

      • Allied staff, resident member, and candidate application processes
      • Mailing list request and data inquiry processing
      • CRM data integrity administration
      • Promote member benefits through daily member inquiries
      • File archive management
      • Receptionist/switchboard backup

General Description of Key Accountabilities

      • Proactively engage in all aspects of allied staff member, resident member, and candidate application processes.
      • Coordinate internal and external mailing list and data research request processes.
      • Process member account updates.
      • Inform members on the breadth of membership benefits and refer out to corresponding departments, as needed.
      • Review monthly data integrity reports.
      • Support allied staff, resident member, and candidate engagement initiatives, with oversight by Manager.
      • Some travel may be required to support conference or practice management events.

 

Salary: From $55,000.00 per year
