Job Summary

  • Bring customer systems and equipment to proper manufacturer working specifications
  • Able to diagnose and communicate effectively with management and customers on system and equipment problems and planned repairs.
  • Able to compete repairs that meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Serve walk-in customers
  • Check in customers equipment for service

 

Requirements:

General Accountabilities

  • Read service guides to find information required to perform repairs.
  • Inspect and test equipment to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions or read work orders or schematic drawings to determine required repairs.
  • Understand how systems and equipment are designed and used
  • Able to quickly diagnose problems and effectively communicate a course of action to management and customers
  • Once approved for repair, repair customer units within the time frames agreed upon the customer
  • Communicate with the customer via email, text or phone to keep them informed on the progress of the repair and costs
  • Document repairs either via a report log or directly into tracking systems
  • Communicate with administration to ensure the customer receives the proper invoice and documentation
  • Work with management and administration to ensure proper inventory is available to meet customers’ expectations.
  • Effectively use ProLogic systems to track customer repairs and provide quotes for walk-in customers
  • Other duties as assigned
