Mechanical Engineer - Tool & Die Designer
Are you an experienced tool & die designer looking to expand your experience and career? Goodwill TalentBridge is recruiting candidates with 3+ years of tool and die design experience for our client, an established metals fabricator.
This is a direct hire role located in Racine and offers first shift hours and a Monday-Thursday work week (10-hour days), comprehensive benefits, and tuition reimbursement program. Competitive pay within a team-oriented company that believes in investing in their employees.
Primary Duties:
Prepare, design and detail drawings and specifications of tool, simple dies, fixtures, gauges, machine attachments for shaping, cutting and inspection of metals
Create original design concepts relying on sketches and drawings, calculate machine capabilities, specifications, and apply innovation
Create detailed and complex tool and die drawings
Programming of numerical control machinery
Create material list for use in constructing tooling complete with vendor referenced
Collaborate cross-functionally to create necessary product documentation, estimates and quotations
Requirements:
Experience:
3+ years’ experience in tool & die design
Stamping and forming experience
Experienced in Master Cam & Solid Edge
Education:
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
