Contract to hire
Earn up to $19/HOUR [based on prior experience]
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads and comprehends blueprints for machine assembly
- Connects wiring harnesses to electrical components
- Installs mechanical and electrical components
- Assembles bearings, shafts, bolts, and finished units
- Prepares daily production reports
- Tests unit to product specification
- Cleans assigned work area
Requirements:
REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTITUDES:- Prior Manufacturing experience is a must
- 2+ years of similar and/or related experience in Mechanics and Assembly
- Ability to Read and interpret blueprints
- 2+ years experience using hand, power and measuring tools / equipment
- Ability to stand on feet for entirety of shift
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
EXPERIENCE
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
- Assembly: 2 years (Preferred)
- Blueprint reading: 2 years (Preferred)
- hand and power tools: 2 years (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Precision measuring instruments: 2 years (Preferred)
Salary: $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
