Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Maintenance/Facilities Manager to work in the Lincolnshire, IL area

 

SUMMARY:

This role will oversee all site safety, installation, repair, and maintenance operations of the company’s facilities. This role supervises the maintenance personnel, ensures adherence to policies and documented procedures, communication and analysis of downtime, cost data, performance metrics and budget. The Maintenance/Facilities Manager ensures warehouse and production conforms to the 5S program, continuous improvement, and lean management principles. This position leads the site safety committee and initiatives.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Strong knowledge of PLC, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Manages work, facilities, and implements 5S throughout the plant.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, including managing preventative maintenance systems, work order systems, quality as well as vendor management.
  • Directs and manages the installation, improvement, maintenance, and disposal of plant assets.
  • Ensures departmental compliance with overall Safety Program, OSHA, EPA, QOS, SPS and operational regulations, and standards.
  • Directs resources and prioritizes work in the completion of all emergency repairs of plant equipment, facilities, and grounds.
  • Trains, directs, develops, supervises, and evaluates subordinate employees.
  • Continues to develop and improve methods of tracking work orders, spare parts, and plant assets and associated maintenance histories utilizing ERP or EAMS.
  • Aids in identifying repetitive equipment failures and determining the root cause of ongoing equipment, plant, and facility failures.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel. Power Point).
  • Senior Role - 10+ years experience
  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree preferred
  • Clean room experience and valid CMM is a plus.

    • Salary: 110K - 120K ; based on experience
