Goodwill TalentBridge along with our client, a well-known manufacturing company, is recruiting for a Maintenance/Development Programmer to join their expanding team! This is a great direct hire opportunity with some flexibility in hours for work/life balance. Starting salary is at $100K.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigates, analyzes, and develops solutions for reported software deficiencies within the Global loan system
  • Participates in system conversion activities and assess and implement software version upgrades
  • Maintains application and interface products in PICK, in a UniVerse database on a Red Hat platform
  • Assist in integrating Red Hat systems with Internet Development efforts
  • Assist in Developmental Testing as well as User Acceptance Testing for a number of high priority enhancements
  • Troubleshoot system problems with business applications, hardware and operating system software

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a financial services environment
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with PICK applications in the Red Hat environment
  • Two years of experience in Engineering or Computer Science field
  • Broad system administration background and familiarity with Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of TCP-IP and networking skills a plus
  • Proven project management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with .Net is a plus
  • Columbia Ultimate Business Systems (CUBS) experience is a plus
