Requirements:

M-FRI; 1st Shift with rotational on call for weekends and emergencies. Full-Time Up to $23/HR – based on level of experience! Location – Oak Creek, WI As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for servicing a multi-family, residential, 300+ complex unit. This includes preventative and real-time maintenance needs throughout the facility, including apartment turns and ensuring requests are responded to, and met, within a timely manner. Areas of focus include and are not limited to the following:

  • HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and diagnosing repairs, completing repairs as needed.
  • Confirming work order requests and responding within a timely-professional manner.
  • Ensuring units have been turned and determining if work has been completed correctly.
  • Providing on-call service when scheduled and performing emergency maintenance as required.
  • Inspecting buildings/grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, addressing needs for repairs.
  • Assisting the manager with scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors.
  • Partnering with the manager to obtain bids and oversee project phases, ensuring work is complete.
  • Assisting in the purchasing process for maintenance supplies and ensuring budget compliancy.
  • Preparing and submitting property invoices while following established guidelines.
  • Communicating maintenance functions and needs to the supervisor.
  • Providing excellent customer service to prospective and current residents, promoting a quality living experience.
  • Participating in company-wide trainings (fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention).
  • Ensuring compliancy with all National Standards, health and safety rules/regulations along with applicable local, state, and federal laws as required.
  • Adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned.

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience.
  • Proven knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Appliances, Carpentry, and Drywall.
  • Basic computer skill set with ability to use electronic communications.
  • Knowledge of pool maintenance.
  • EPA Certification is a plus!
  • Strong communication and administrative skill set.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a high attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work 8-hour shifts while standing.
  • Must be available for on call emergencies.
