Goodwill TalentBridge is assisting with recruitment for this opportunity. Our client is a global leader in medical device manufacturing seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair on equipment and within the facility.

What is the Position?
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities through daily tasks such as assisting with production startup during shift, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting processes, conducting equipment repairs, handling facility repairs, and completing assigned maintenance work orders.

What are the Responsibilities?  (Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:)
  • Assisting with production start-up, including process and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Perform and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Complete assigned maintenance work orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of repair supplies and equipment.
  • Carry out minor building repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting as required.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for additional maintenance support.
  • Work and communicate across multiple staff departments on identified action plans.
  • Perform actions with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Other duties as necessary...

Requirements:

What are the Qualifications?

  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, high precision molding operation preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience with maintenance and operation on hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment such as molding machines, extruders, heat presses, commercial laundry dryers, and RF tippers.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices under FDA and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

What are the Details?

  • Contract-to-Hire, Full Time, Onsite
  • Schedule:
  • Monday   2:00am - 12:30pm
  • Tuesday - Friday  4:00am - 12:30pm
  • Overtime or Weekend work might be necessary.
