Goodwill TalentBridge is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our client’s growing manufacturing plant in Lake Bluff, IL. SUMMARY:
Operates all coating equipment and machinery to produce high quality products on schedule.
Schedule: Mondays through Thursday (casual overtime available Friday's or Saturdays) 12-hour shift
Hours: 1st Shift 6 am to 6 pm Monday-Thursday with OT paid out after 40 hours.
Pay: $18.00 to $19.00 an hour
Work Location: Lake Bluff, IL onsite

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review work orders, product specifications and special instructions to ensure understanding of requirements
- Perform set up of machines to exact specifications and ensure material is loaded properly
- Ensure specifications are followed accurately to mix solutions
- Know how to perform all functions on all production machines
- Identify all finished products accurately
- Verify that final product meets quality standards
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in operating a coating line preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Coating press: 2 years (Preferred)
- Machine Operator: 2 years (Preferred)
- Ability to read and understand all production specifications and work orders
- Ability to neatly and accurately record required data
- Ability to propel and control heavy chemical vats (100's of lbs.) on wheeled pallets across warehouse and production floor and up and down slight ramps
- Must be able to push, pull, and make other movements necessary to move multi-ton rolls of material from warehouse shelves, to forklift, and to proper positioning on machine. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. of weight.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and follow detailed work instructions from supervisors
