Goodwill Talentbridge, in partnership with Wrought Washer, is seeking an experienced Journeyman Machinist to work in the Milwaukee area.


Wrought Washer is the world’s largest manufacturer of standard and special washers.  For more than a century, Wrought Washers has been serving the nation’s leading industries, supplying high-quality construction equipment and material handling.  Wrought Washer is a full-service company that offers state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing, design, customer service and sales operations.  Wrought Washer is a privately held company.  The Company has approximately 150 employees located in Southeastern Wisconsin.        

Brief Description:

Under general supervision of the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible to program, set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC turning and machining operations.  Diagnosis of equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties necessary for success.                  

Essential Functions:

  • Receive work instructions as well as job assignments and prioritize workload
  • Complete advanced math calculations to interpret production orders  
  • Utilize various measuring tools for exact measurements  
  • Program set up, and operate laser cutting machines
  • Inspect parts and complete necessary paperwork
  • Perform SPC and Datamyte data entry   


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 4 year vocational or high school degree
  • Accredited journeyman apprenticeship
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience preferred
  • Serve as a seasoned machinist for support and guidance to additional operator(s) within the department   
  • Ability to work 10-hour days (5:00 am to 3:00 pm) Monday through Thursday with additional hours occasionally on Friday
