Goodwill TalentBridge along with our client, is currently recruiting an IT Project Manager to work in the Niles area.

Description:

As the Junior IT Project Manager, you will be accountable for the success of all projects under your supervision. As the project manager, you will plan, execute, and deliver all projects on time, on budget, and within the scope in accordance with business priorities. You will manage the lifecycle of each project including managing project teams and mitigating issues and risks.  

Our ideal candidate has a 2-5 years of IT project management experience, is collaborative, has exceptional communication skills, and is technically savvy. We are also seeking someone who thinks quick on their feet and has the ability to not only anticipate risks but devise solutions in the moment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and define project plans, portfolios, and product prioritization and implementation
  • Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
  • Partner with business sponsor to define success metrics and criteria
  • Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles
  • Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Act as an Account Manager navigating client requests, updates and communications through the duration of the project
  • Ensure all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of previous IT Project Management experience
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
  • Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management Tools (Visio, MS Project, Clarity, etc.)
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent experience
  • PMI certification strongly preferred
