Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a Human Resources/Administrative Assistant to work in the Buffalo Grove, IL area.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Assist HR Manager with administrative and office tasks, and coordination of building maintenance programs
  • Responsible for answering phone calls, emails, greeting customers and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, and checking customers in and out
  • Provide administrative support including handling of mail, faxes, calendar, meeting schedules, filing and maintaining customer files and routine clerical duties
  • Assists the departments or function managers by performing a variety of support duties, such as luncheons, conference or meeting planning, preparing complex documents and coordination of activities
  • Assist with company event planning
  • Active member of the Safety Committee
  • Maintain common areas and ensure they have adequate supplies
  • Assist HR Manager with administrative and office tasks, and coordination of building maintenance programs
  • Ensure vending machines and breakroom are well stocked
  • Place orders for office supplies, vending snacks and breakroom supplies under the supervision of the HR Manager
  • Assist Accounts Receivable Coordinator with light organization or invoices, filing and data entry
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform at a high level on the company objectives program
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as stated in the quality system documentation manual, the safety manual and the employee handbook

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Administrative experience, preferred
  • Customer service experience, preferred
  • Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish)
  • MS Office experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Teams experience or other video conferencing
  • Experience in research via the Internet
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures

SCHEDULE:

  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 8am  - 5pm
  • Direct Hire Opportunity
  • Benefit Eligible after 90 days of employment
