HR Generalist & Payroll Coordinator

Goodwill TalentBridge, in partnership with our client, a leader in higher education in the Milwaukee area, is seeking an HR Generalist to work in this direct hire role with the day-to-day support of the Human Resources department providing key support and consultation to employees and leadership.  This role will answer questions about HR programs, procedures, policies and subject matter on a variety of topics including diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.  The HR Generalist is responsible to process payroll and administer benefits for the organization.   Additionally, this role will oversee compliance and entry and maintenance of HRIS information.  Experience with ADP and systems implementation is a plus.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field or equivalent number of years of experience
  • Two to four years of HR Admin experience
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office 365, Google Drive, and HRIS systems

 

Preferred:

  • Three to five years of HR Generalist experience, including payroll experience
  • PHR, as identified by HRCI or SHRM-CP, as recognized by SHRM
  • Affiliation with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM)
