Responsible for all duties associated with the operation of the Kitchen, along with equipment.

Batch Mixers are responsible for the quality of their work and the implementation of the food safety and quality procedures applicable to the processes performed. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Downloading the correct recipe using the written formula located on the kitchen computer.
- Mixing, measuring, and scaling/weighing ingredients and additives based on written formulas.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as the Breddo Mixer/Cookers to cook, following instructions for temperature and timing requirements.
- Work with Mogul Operators to ensure batches are ready to be dropped and at the end of production, transfer slurry from the weighted to the tempering and buffering vessels.
- Maintain documentation in a neat and organized manner along with a written log of each batch processed.
- Perform QA inspections to ensure compliance and ensure all paperwork is completed including start up check-lists and batch tickets.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned, including different departments.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma and/or GED.
- Previous food manufacturing or cooking within a manufacturing environment required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, bilingual is a plus!
- Ability to read and comprehend simple written instructions
- Basic math skills (add and subtract two digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's, using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance).
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently throughout the day while standing on your feet for 8+ hours.
