Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, is currently recruiting for a PT Cook to work in the Franklin area.

The primary goal of the Cook is to coordinate and ensure the friars have dietary healthy meal each evening, Monday-Thursday. (The Friday evening meal, at this time, is handled in house; weekends are self-help). 

Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen. Executes cold food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications. Attends to the detail and presentation of each order. Places and expedites orders.

  1. Plans and develops menus for the main meals Monday through Friday under the direction of kitchen manager.  
  2. * Prepares shopping lists for both wholesale vendors and local stores.
  3. * Purchases groceries from local stores as needed.
  4. Accommodates special dietary needs as requested.
  5. Prepares the main meals Monday through Thursday.
  6. * Maintains a current inventory of food while rotating stock.
  7. * Monitors and replenishes other kitchen supplies as needed.
  8. * Properly stores leftover food in containers.  No food is allowed to be given out without the guardian’s approval.
  9. Cleans kitchen area, which counter tops, along with dishes, pots or pans, stove and all appliances used in preparing the meal.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

The Cook is expected to exhibit ordinary culinary skills and knowledge in the preparation of a variety of menus. Healthy diets (ex. heart friendly, fat/cholesterol-free, etc.) are encouraged. It is furthermore encouraged that the Cook exhibits interest in his/her Cooking repertoire by attempting new and appetizing recipes.  


  • Part Time:  230pm-545pm
  • Pay:  $16/hr
