Goodwill TalentBridge is recruiting for a Controller in this direct hire position with our client, a leading national wealth management firm.

This role oversees accounting operations, as well as administration of financial activities and operational efficiency of the firm. This role manages aspects of human resources including recruitment strategy, candidate selection, hiring, training and retention as well as payroll and benefits administration. The Controller will coordinate the marketing and social media presence for the firm, including marketing content and design, as well as manage marketing materials. This role oversees the work of the accounting operations team. In this role you will collaborate with leadership to establish organizational best practices. 

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
  • Financial data management and reporting for accurate accounting of business results
  • Coordinating and preparing financial statements
  • Providing leadership with vital information needed in decision making
  • Manage the budget process
  • Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
  • Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
  • Overseeing regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance
  • Hiring, training and retention of staff
  • Oversee payroll and benefit plans
  • Supervision of IT staff


The ideal candidate will possess great attention to detail, a high level of organization and previous operations management and or accounting management experience.
